## The problem

A tracking platform is only as honest as its desktop agent: it has to count real work, not idle time, run quietly all day on every kind of machine, and show people exactly what it records about them.

## Our solution

A native Tauri agent that tracks a task or a project, separates active from idle time, and captures apps and screenshots only while the timer runs. It shrinks to a mini timer or the tray, fits five window layouts from Easy read to Extended, and puts private breaks, blur and never-capture rules in the member’s own hands.

## The outcome

Released and updating itself on Windows 10 and 11, the older Windows 7 to 8.1, both kinds of Mac and Linux — the same hours, apps and screenshots the My Virtual Tracker dashboard reports on.

## Inside the product

- **Tracking:** Pick a project or a task and press start. Today against your limit, activity, the week, the project budget, your top apps and the latest screenshots sit around the timer.
- **A layout for every screen:** Standard, Wide, Extended, Focus or Easy read — large type for low vision — in a dark or light theme. The window resizes itself to fit.
- **Always within reach:** A mini timer that stays on top of other windows, a tray menu with keyboard shortcuts, and notifications for approvals, messages and updates.
- **Privacy you can see:** Take a private break, choose which screen is recorded and how strongly it is blurred, see what was collected today, and add apps or sites that are never captured.
- **Your account:** Limits, time off, the open timesheet and earnings in one profile, and a sign-in that links the agent to your account in a click.
