Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to read this site and get in touch. Here is what we do, and how to tell us when we fall short.
Our aim
SoftFix LLC aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We build and test the site ourselves; it hasn’t had an independent accessibility audit yet, so we don’t claim formal conformance.
What we do
- Every page has a “Skip to content” link and a clear heading structure.
- The site works with a keyboard, and focus moves to the new content when you open another page.
- Text on dark backgrounds is set to meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and buttons and links keep a touch target of at least 44 pixels.
- Images have descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting, and changes of page are announced to screen readers.
- The text is readable without JavaScript, because the pages are delivered as ready-made HTML.
Known limits
- Screenshots of our products are images; their alternative text summarises them rather than transcribing every label.
- Some pages use scroll-driven motion. If it bothers you, turn on “reduce motion” in your system settings and the site will stop animating.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, email [email protected] with the page and what went wrong. We’ll look into it and, where we can, fix it and reply. If you need the information in another format, ask and we’ll help.
